Council of the Marble Star

TURN GOOD RESULTS INTO GREAT ONES

How you deliver is just as important as what you deliver — choose excellence in both!

BUSINESS ISSUE

Building lasting and productive business relationships within the context of corporate culture can be a daily challenge. You are expected to deliver specific results consistently while upholding personal integrity and company values. It’s no easy task. The pressure to deliver can erode how we behave and interact with one another, but the quality of working relationships has a direct impact on productivity. Council of the Marble Star challenges you to succeed in both areas — profit and professionalism — because how you achieve a result is just as important as the result itself.

THE LEARNER EXPERIENCE

Set in King Arthur’s Court, this themed and highly interactive learning experience presents a challenge as old as the Arthurian era: making money and building relationships while preserving cultural values. You won’t earn your seat on the Council of the Marble Star by succeeding in just one area. Along the way, you’ll face deadlines, changing circumstances and rivalries — and have a lot of fun managing it all. Are you ready for the challenge? Knock on the door of the Council of the Marble Star and find out.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS LEARN

• Negotiate and build lasting, productive relationships that deliver promised results

• Align culture with commerce

• Learn to match your intentions with others’ perceptions

• Focus on long-term success and the value of reputation

• Bring your company’s values to life

FACILITATOR INSIGHT

The best part of this programme is how it blends the analysis of the results we achieve with how we achieve them. Participants must deliver exceptional business results, but are also assessed on the values demonstrated in doing so.

Were the results delivered in a repeatable way? Or were they achieved in a manner that left stakeholders feeling undervalued and overlooked, reducing the likelihood of success being repeated once your reputation spreads?

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“We were delighted to have Eagle’s Flight™ facilitate a game-based session at our recent leadership conference. The entire afternoon was dedicated to it, and the session was a great success. The facilitator had a strong stage presence. Eagle’s Flight™ was able to connect with the corporate culture, making the session relevant and part of the broader story. The concept of the game worked extremely well, especially considering the multi-regional/multicultural nature of the audience. The debrief session following the experience really reinforced the learning in the business context, aligning it with our leadership commitments.

We recognised that opting for a ‘game’ carried an element of risk — one that paid off greatly. The feedback was that the session was a real highlight of the entire conference.”
