Coral Banks Construction Company

BUILD THE BRIDGE AND SAVE THE TURTLES!

Make the “impossible” possible through world-class teamwork, passion, and collaboration – Challenge Mindset!

BUSINESS ISSUE

Coral Banks Construction Company challenges participants with a seemingly impossible task. Yet in this challenge, paralysis is quickly replaced by motivated and purposeful action, as individuals explore the potential of “What’s Possible” through the power of collaborative teams. And, surprisingly — through experiential learning — this transformation is architected by the participants themselves.

Expanding beyond and overcoming self-limitations often requires significant change management and support — but not this time.

This hands-on programme bridges the gap between intent (no matter how ambitious the objective) and execution, tackling the critical skills — leadership, communication, and resource management — that deliver cohesive teamwork and seemingly impossible results.

THE LEARNER EXPERIENCE

You are a vital member of Coral Banks Construction Company and must construct a perfectly engineered bridge to span and protect a delicate ecosystem. It’s a massive project that must meet stringent standards — and every minute counts! Self-imposed limitations will be shattered as participants realise this overwhelming task is, in fact, achievable.

You will be amazed to witness the focus, leadership, communication, cooperation, and execution of the team come together in tangible results before your eyes — and by your own hands. Your individual role is crucial, but as part of a team and a team of teams, your potential for achievement is vast. And the experience doesn’t stop there. Your sense of accomplishment and the valuable lessons learned will seamlessly translate into your working relationships and accelerate your pursuit of goals.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS LEARN

• Build a unified focus on clearly defined goals; harness the power of team spirit and unity to achieve them.

• Collaborate productively to share resources, assign tasks, and maintain quality standards.

• Communicate effectively and frequently, leading to increased productivity and workplace satisfaction.

• Achieve the impossible as individual, team, and organisational efforts become more aligned.

FACILITATOR INSIGHT

If you want something that gets people working together quickly — this is it!

Seeing the conference room come alive as large groups commit to building their part of a giant bridge is a wonderful sight and a brilliant way to launch a collaboration theme at any conference! Can the group come together and pool their talents and manpower to build the bridge on time and on budget?

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“Our leaders were struggling with collaboration. We knew that, as a good group of teams, we weren’t always at our best. Deciding what to prioritise and when was always the usual internal challenge. Some teams would ‘win’ at the expense of others.

The result we needed was to ensure that everyone clearly understood the role they played in our ability to be brilliant in every function. This was meant to drive personal accountability — not just among our leaders, but among every individual across teams throughout our company.

Your experience, Promises, Promises!, allowed us to bring 200 people together to work on real-life situations we face daily and achieve 110% of our goals.

It was incredibly energising to see a room full of passionate people working so well together to overcome the obstacles preventing us from becoming a truly united team.

What we were able to achieve in half a day, with your support, would have taken us a year in the market.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking to shift their team’s culture from good to great!”
