Arctic Pursuit

STRATEGY, TACTICS AND EXECUTIVE EXCELLENCE

Prioritise outcomes to ensure non-negotiables are never at risk while maximising results.

BUSINESS ISSUE

Every company deals with changing market conditions, resource management challenges and identifying activities with the highest return, but each has varying levels of impact. What makes the difference?

The answer lies in the ability to capitalise on and profit from every opportunity, not just those easily within reach — that is what truly sets world-class companies apart. In Arctic Pursuit, you will be challenged to do exactly that. Learn how using your team effectively and operating with a practical yet flexible plan will boost profit and efficiency, regardless of the wind’s direction.

THE LEARNER EXPERIENCE

In Arctic Pursuit, event participants will assume the role of researchers venturing into the Great White North of Canada. The task is to track and record the migratory habits of Canadian Arctic wildlife, while gathering resources to enhance the quality of life for those creatures. The effective use of available resources, pausing to reassess and adjust as new information is uncovered and, of course, teamwork will make all the difference in this truly immersive experience!

This adventure highlights how these same skills and strategies can be applied to achieve outstanding results in any work context.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS LEARN

• Understanding the importance of making non-negotiables the first priority

• Identifying and consistently using all available resources

• Taking the initiative and committing to achieving everything possible

• Pausing to review and adjust approach on the way to any goal

FACILITATOR INSIGHT

Do you ever feel paralysed (pun intended!) when you have to make decisions? Arctic Pursuit is a powerful experience that allows participants, in hindsight, to reflect on which decisions were best and why it isn’t always easy to make them.

It’s also useful for initiating conversations about how taking initiative can enhance the value of contributions.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“Our leaders were struggling with collaboration. We knew that, as a good group of teams, we weren’t always at our best. Deciding what to prioritise and when was always the usual internal challenge. Some teams would ‘win’ at the expense of others.

The result we needed was to ensure that everyone clearly understood the role they played in our ability to be brilliant in every function. This was meant to drive personal accountability — not just among our leaders, but among every individual across teams throughout our company.

Your experience, Promises, Promises!, allowed us to bring 200 people together to work on real-life situations we face daily and achieve 110% of our goals.

It was incredibly energising to see a room full of passionate people working so well together to overcome the obstacles preventing us from becoming a truly united team.

What we were able to achieve in half a day, with your support, would have taken us a year in the market.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking to shift their team’s culture from good to great!”
