Tactical Excellence ™
Tactical Excellence™ is a dynamic, experiential programme that will help employees manage and execute projects on time, on budget with top quality results. Distinguished by interactive skill-building exercises, the programme focuses on the practical application of the tools for real-world situations. It can be delivered in one or two days, depending on the level of the participants.
The Experience
The objective of the first 1 1/2 days is for participants to gain a full understanding of each of the
principles necessary to ensure flawless execution of projects. This is achieved through a series of
interactive discussions, case-study examples and an experiential exercise, Eagle Rock™ FM.
Eagle Rock™ FM provides individuals with an opportunity to develop their new skills to produce
a radio commercial for the State of Arizona. Participants immerse themselves in this engaging experience
that allows them to apply each step in order to implement a project from start to finish, and evaluate
its effectiveness upon completion.
The afternoon of Day 2 provides an opportunity for participants to apply the steps and tools to their
practical business projects. Individuals bring their own business scenarios to work on using each of
the project management steps, and are given an opportunity for feedback along the way. By applying
the tools of GANTT charts, contingency diagrams and work breakdown structures, participants work to
bring their projects to fruition.
The one-day version of the programme is geared to deliver content to more senior levels. It includes
all the same course material, tools and a comprehensive hands-on case study. Participants of the
one-day session would not have the opportunity to take part in the experiential program, Eagle Rock™ FM.
