BUSINESS ISSUE

Your marketplace is fraught with perils—competition, customer demands, misinformation—but it’s also rife with opportunities, if you can recognise and act upon them. But, we miss out if we don’t have the relevant information, can’t understand it or fail to apply it. And do we have the systems and checkpoints in place to adjust strategies and action plans as circumstances change? If not, how can we efficiently evaluate, plan and execute in order to optimise upon all opportunities? This is particularly challenging when we’re operating within high pressure, deadline- and results-driven environments. Discover the impact of fluid and effective execution as you work together to outwit and outlast the competition in the Australian Outback.

THE LEARNER EXPERIENCE

Expedition OutbackTM is a world of peril and opportunity, not unlike today’s marketplace. As Australian Overlanders, attendees will work in teams to traverse the vast terrain of the Outback, amass wealth and acquire assets that will ultimately be delivered to the Royal Exposition. But they’re not alone. Aside from the natural hazards, teams will compete against one another, face movement limitations, and of course, a ticking clock! During this highly energetic and collaborative experience, attendees will discover how to identify and capitalize upon opportunities, fully leverage information, and develop a results-driven mindset. All of which will help attendees identify priorities, evaluate information and select the best available routes, leading to greater efficiencies, less stress, and optimal results back at work.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS LEARN

FACILITATOR’S INSIGHT

When fast paced decision making collides with when, where and how information is gathered to ensure excellence in execution there are bound to be gaps in the results delivered.

Expedition Outback is a great experience to demonstrate the importance of not losing sight of what has to be delivered as a foundation to then build on to deliver what can be achieved.
